Viola Jean Haller Vi Haller, 73, of Kenyon, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 1, 1937 in Wasioja, Minnesota the daughter of Harold and Lillian (Franklin) Phelps. She attended school in Wasioja and graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Robert Eggert on June 17, 1955 and in their union they had six children. They lived in the Dodge County area and in 1966 they settled in Kenyon. Robert died in 1972. She then married Robert Haller on January 8, 1973 and they made their home in Kenyon. Vi was a daycare provider in their home for over 26 years. She was also an Avon dealer and member of the President''s Club for 20 years. Vi was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, crossword puzzles and games. The last 10 years, Vi and Bob, spent their winters in Florida. She is survived by her husband Robert Haller of Kenyon; eight children, Cindy (Mike) Fandel of Plymouth, Rick Eggert of Kasson, Ron Haller of Pensacola, FL, Randy (Debbie) Eggert of Kenyon, Les (Angie) Eggert of Kenyon, Mary (Gary) Schumacher of Storm, WI, Libby Denny of Kasson, and Vicki (Bruce) Dietz of Owatonna; twenty-six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Marge (Ray) Bestler of Spooner, WI, Marilyn (Graham) Luck of Byron, and Gloria (Wally) Sjogren of Belgrade; sister-in-law, Harriet Brown of Hastings; in addition many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Eggert, great grandchild, Taylor, daughter-in-law, Heidi Eggert, two brothers, Donald and Walter Phelps, and one sister, Harriet Wallace. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon with The Reverend Luther Mathsen officiating.
