Virgil R. Kleeberger, 83, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Ivanhoe Apartments. Virgil was born August 22, 1929 in West Concord Township, the son of Ralph and Flossie (Cranston) Kleeberger. Virgil and Dorothy Frutiger married on June 19, 1951. He started his career as a millwright and also worked with Hormel and Wenger Corporation. Virgil loved to spend time with family especially his grandchildren. He liked to attend auctions and tinker with projects. His pets were loved and he enjoyed gardening. Virgil liked to fish but was afraid of water and couldn''t pass up a good plate of food. Virgil is survived by his children, Tonyia Miller of Owatonna, Terry (and Maria) Kleeberger of Andover; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Kleeberger; three brothers; one sister; one great-grandson; son-in-law, Douglas Miller. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home Owatonna on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. and at Concord Church of Christ on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Concord Church of Christ with The Reverend Tim Smith officiating.
