Virginia Vivian Paulson, 92, of Owatonna, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Koda Living Community. She was born May 5, 1924 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of William and Rose (Prokop) Pachl. She graduated from Owatonna High School, Class of 1942. On August 5, 1945, she married Johan Paulson at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church. The couple farmed until 1969 when they moved to Owatonna. Virginia was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, bookkeeping and was a wonderful seamstress. She loved reading and watching movies, including a good, scary movie. Just speak the words road trip and she was ready to go and enjoyed all the stops along the way. She was involved in Pontoppidan Lutheran Church most of her life attending nearly every Sunday, singing in the choir, attending Bible studies and serving with the Ladies Aid. She is survived by daughters, Judy (Gene) Fisher of Owatonna, Linda Soukup of Owatonna and Pat (Tony) Klotz of California; sister, Elaine (Dick) Sanders of Owatonna; 6 grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Ratlzoff of Owatonna, Melissa (Todd) Paquette of Faribault, Jason Young of Owatonna, Tricia (Eric) Fisher of Owatonna, Adam (fianc�©, KayCee) Perron of Seattle and Amy Richter of Owatonna; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose; husband, Johan; son in law, Roger Soukup; brother, Bill Pachl and sisters, Florence Kruckeberg and Dorothy Pobanz. Funeral Services will be held at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Dick Hegal will officiate.
