Vivian Adeline Hanson, 99, of Owatonna, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
She was born February 16, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Reinert and Mary (Thompson) Skogen. She was a graduate of North High School in Minneapolis. In 1940, Vivian was united in marriage to Lawrence "Larry"� Hanson and they made their home in Owatonna. Vivian worked at Josten's in the mailroom from 1968 until her retirement in 1980. In 1985, she moved back to the Minneapolis area.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Mary) Hanson of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Lindsay Berdan, Laura (Chris) Feile, Susan Hanson, Sarah Fontaine, and Stephen Hanson; 3 great granddaughters, Chelsea Fontaine, Kate Ann and Vivian Feile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence "Larry"� Hanson, and daughter, Mary Ann Berdan and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna. A reception will follow at Michaelson Funeral Home.
