Warren Williams Krause, 84, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Cedarview Care Center. Warren was born January 22, 1924 in Owatonna Township, Minnesota the son of Milton and Pearl (Williams) Krause. He was raised and attended country school District 22. He then attended Owatonna High School graduating in 1942. Warren worked with his dad and brother on the family farm. He was united in marriage to Louise Danks on June 17, 1950 in the United Methodist Church, Owatonna. They made their home near Owatonna where they farmed. He retired from farming in 1994 and they moved to Owatonna where he worked at Cash Wise until 1998. Warren loved his farm and collected John Deere memorabilia. He was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis, the Eastern Star and the Mason''s. He enjoyed traveling and taking Sunday road trips. He also enjoyed playing cards, square dancing and nibbling on popcorn and candy. He is survived by his wife Louise of Owatonna; five daughters, Rebecca (and David) Linders of Owatonna, Anita (and Kevin) Dunlavey of Jackson, Cynthia Norton of St. Paul, Pat Krause of Owatonna, Holly Coady of Monticello, a brother, David (and Jean) Krause of Owatonna; 8 grandchildren, Tracy (and Duane) Boyum, Tim (and Shelli) Linders, Ryan (and Kristin) Dunlavey, Megan Dunlavey, Kaitlin Dunlavey, Nicholas Norton, Alex Coady and Tony Coady and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Pearl; and a son-in-law Richard Norton. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held January 16, 2009 at 11 AM at United Methodist Church with Pastor Loren Olson officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna.
