William Bill Allan Organ, 39, of Chicago, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
He was born May 29, 1979, in Rochester, Minnesota, the son of Allan and Mary Ellen (Hoyer) Organ. He grew up in West Concord and graduated from Triton High School in 1997. Bill continued his education after high school and earned an Associates of Arts degree in graphic design from Brown College. He found employment at Planet Hollywood and Surdyk's in Minneapolis before taking a leap of faith and moving to Chicago in 2003. He was currently working as a personal assistant for Asian Human Services.
Bill was an Eagle Scout. He loved music, socializing, caring for his many plants, spending time with his family and his cat, Smudge. Known for making friends easily with his infectious smile and generous heart, Bill had an extensive list of people whose lives he touched. Having grown up with two brothers, he truly loved his sisters-in-law and referred to them as his "sisters. He also cherished his childhood memories of spending time with his cousin, Kamila, at the lake in northern Wisconsin. He adored his nieces and nephews and enjoyed taking family vacations to Hawaii and Costa Rica. Bill loved living in the big city of Chicago, the many friends he made there, and the life he established with Mark. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his parents, Allan Al and Mary Ellen Mardy Organ of West Concord; brothers, Ken (and Jessica) Organ of Northfield and Erick (and Angela) Organ of Pine Island; nieces and nephews, Jared, Alex, Anni and Kat Organ; partner, Mark Remington of Chicago and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice and Ferol Organ and Ken and Bernadelle Hoyer.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be in the Berne Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
