William Vance Caudill, 59, of West Concord, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home under the care of Hartland Hospice. Bill was born December 29, 1950 in Fort Lauderdale, FL the son of William and Eleanor Caudill. He was raised in Fort Lauderdale and later graduated from high school. He then attended Technical College and worked in retail. In 1986, he moved to Kenyon and began working for Rytway Industries Corp in Lakeville. He moved to West Concord in 1994 and continued working with Rytway until the time of his illness. Bill enjoyed his picturesque rose garden. It was his forte and he took a lot of pride in nurturing and growing his roses. He also enjoyed collecting statuettes of cardinals and many other collectibles. He is survived by his partner, Richard Eischens of West Concord; special friends, Peggy Dunton of Faribault; Christine Floren of Kasson; Mary Jane Rundquist-Benda of Kasson; and Wesley Stadler of Faribault. He was preceded in death by his mother. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
