William "Bill" Reuter, age 49, of Owatonna, died August 29, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St. Mary's Campus, Rochester after a 6 year valiant fight against a rare form of lung cancer. Bill was born May 23, 1966 in Berwyn, IL the son of John and Carol (Oller) Reuter. He graduated in 1985. Bill was united in marriage to Jennifer Maul on August 5, 1995 in Faribault, MN. The couple later moved to Owatonna, MN where Bill worked as an IT specialist in the surrounding area. Bill had a kind heart and was always willing to help others in any way he could. Bill's hobby and passion was computer work and electronics. He loved to kid around and was known to be a jokester. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Reuter of Owatonna; two daughters, Heidi Reuter of Burnsville; Kylie Reuter of Owatonna; a son, Aiden Reuter of Owatonna; a granddaughter, Charlotte; and a sister, Janet Reuter of Brookfield, IL; father and mother-in-law, Manley and Vivian Maul; sisters-in-law, Angie Kline (Randy) and Sarah Mann (Shannon); brother-in-law, Jeremy Maul; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Susan Wolan. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the service at Daybreak Church. Memorial services will be held at Daybreak Church on Thursday, September 3, 2015 beginning at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Joel Stauffer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Owatonna. With Bill working sporadically over the years due to health reasons and Jennifer being at his side this past month, in lieu of flowers; memorials are preferred to the family.
