Obituary

Wilma "Kay" H. Fisher, 90, of Owatonna, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Owatonna Care Center. She was born November 5, 1922 in Magnolia, Minnesota the daughter of Melvin and Edna (Kline) Barclay. She graduated from Adrian, Minnesota. On July 9, 1942, she married Calvin "Bud" Fisher in South Sioux City, IA. They made their home in Iowa until July 1955 when they moved to Owatonna. While in Owatonna, she worked as a clerk at Pfiel's Variety Store, the Toy Store, and St. Clair's for over 30 years Kay and her husband enjoyed camping, traveling, and playing cards. They enjoyed many winter months in southern Texas. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. She is survived by two sons, Richard, and Gene (and Judy) all of Owatonna; five grandchildren, Kevin Fisher of Owatonna, Scott (and Stacy) Palesotti of Hector, Kelly (and Jeff) Ratzloff of Owatonna, Melissa (and Todd) Paquette of Faribault, and Tricia (and Eric) Fisher of Owatonna; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Calvin (1991), three sisters, and one brother. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Peter Strommen officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Owatonna Area Hospice or Disabled American Veterans.
